X2656 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From EFC. EFC2/AT9.10.19. X.3573. X.3348 X.3647. X.3082. RE STARTER MOTOR X.2656. For the 10,000 mile test it is now decided that we fit, if ready, the new design of brush holder at present being got out by Mr. Day, but we would like you to note that we still require to proceed with the experiments of various combinations of spring tensions and grades of brushes, as asked for in our EFC2/AT2.10.19. As we no longer have the work of production testing of motors we are now in a position to carry out these various tests, and it is essential that the necessary changes which we shall require, be carried out as expeditiously as possible.
