Messrs. Park Ward & Co. Ltd., 473 High Road, Willesden, London. N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: Wide Frame 25/30 HP Bodies. On all of the front wings for the above bodies we have had a foul between the inner valance of the wing just in front of the radiator and a nut which attaches the inner aluminium pot to the main suspension forging in the end of the frame. On N.Sch.4918 herewith, which shews an arrangement of the chassis at this point, we have indicated the nut in question, and we suggest that a suitable model of this part of the chassis, including the nut, be added to the dummy chassis, in order that the front wings of the remaining bodies may be free from this fault. At the same time we are sending you by road a front wing of 29-G-6 original Limousine, which we have had modified to give the necessary clearance, so that you may see the shape required. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Car Project Office. | ||
