Please receive herewith two blueprints of each of the following :-

S.CD.957 Four Shoe Front Brake.Hydraulically Operated.
Ex.S.1199 Pin - Equaliser Links. 8 off.
Ex.S.1200 Oilite Bush. 2 off.
Ex.S.1201 Lock Plate. 4 off.
Ex.S.1204 Pull off Spring. Bottom. 2 off.
Ex.S.1205 Welding Assembly. R.H. 2 off
Ex.S.1206 Welding Assembly. L.H. 2 off

The following standard parts will also be required :-

K.1804 Screw 4 off.
K.9005 Spring Washer. 4 off.
K.204 Bolt - Shoe Guide. 8 off.
K.4310 Nut " " 8 off.
K.9008 Washer " " 8 off.

The following parts called for on memo BY/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design}20/G.5.10.38. will not be required :-

KB.1179 Collar - Equaliser Links. 8 off.
KB.4534 Pin " " 8 off.
K.4602 Split Pin. 8 off.
FW.342 Washer - Fulcrum Pin. 2 off.
K.9009 Spring Washer " " 2 off.
K.4313 Nut. 2 off.

The foregoing instructions, together with alteration 61 to pieces Ex.S.1066, 1073/4/5/8/9, 1080/1/2 S.CD. modifies instructions contained in memo BY/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design}20/G.5.10.38, and are for the purpose of making the design easily convertible from Girling to Hydraulic Operation.
