AND BENTLEY CARS. Following complaints we have received and in order to answer several queries, we have been investigating the whole question of the fitting of radio sets to our cars. An increasingly large number of our customers are having "Philco" radio sets installed and in order to avoid confusion and possible infringement of our guarantee we considered it necessary to determine :- (a) What effect the fitting of "suppressors" to the sparking plugs and ignition coil has on the performance of our battery ignition set. (b) What steps could be legitimately taken to eliminate radio interference from our dynamo, ignition coil primary L.T. circuit, the voltage regulator for the dynamo and the fuel pumps. (c) Where we could allow the L.T. feed for the radio set to be tapped on our electrical system. (d) The best place for fitting the set to avoid any mechanical interference with any of our controls. | ||
