1328 To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. We believe you have just received LeC.5655 (Bentley water temperature regulator for use with fixed shutter radiator) for detailing purposes. We should like you to detail this scheme with the minimum of delay as we want to run it on O.B.1V. car which is going to France very shortly, and we have to carry out some preliminary tests first. Sales are anxious to standardise the fixed shutter radiator as soon as possible. When detailing the thermostat casing (casting) we should like you to make one modification to the scheme LeC.5655 as drawn - we should like a boss incorporated on the casing so that for experimental purposes we can fit the bypass union to the casing instead of the outlet - when the casing goes into production we can of course dispense with this boss if it is not required.
