Further to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.14/M.22.2.37, we are very surprised that these dampers were unpleasantly hard for English conditions as the opposite has been experienced over here, and the rear float and pitching is so bad that I am quite sure there are plenty of roads in England where the same thing would occur. Something must have happened to reduce their effeciency if they were really thoroughly tested and found too hard in England.
