This car is fitted with a streamlined body with cycle type wings, similar to the experimental car. I took it down to Brooklands yesterday and with two passengers up did the lap at 92.92 m.p.h. and the half-mile on the straight at 94.7 m.p.h. There was nearlya head wind on the straight. I noticed that the speedometer shewed 100 m.p.h. at 4,500 revs. near Vicker's sheds. J.L.E. | ||
