| To E.H. from E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL E1/B25:6:17. 3 X 3080 Re Lightened Valve Rocker. With further reference to my memo E4/B23:6:17, I have been over the model again with a micrometer instead of just callipers, and make a sketch below with remarks illustrating the points mentioned. I find the webs on the fork are NEARLY as thin as we want, and the web on the outer lever has only a few thous. of extra metal, which, so far as the model is concerned, does not matter.
