Experimental Dept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GR.{George Ratcliffe}4/JH. 7th June, 1937. 1033 The Zenith Carburettor Co.Ltd., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex. For the attention of Mr.A.E.Palmer. Phantom III EEC.42 Stromberg Carburettor. Dear Sirs, We wish to report a complaint from our service dept., of the finish of the float needle seating. The last operation on this part appears to be the milling of the fuel slot. In consequence a nasty burr is left on the inside which can very easily affect the seating of the needle. Will you please give this matter your immediate attention before any more pass through. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
