19th August, 1938.

W.O. Taylor, Esq.,
Messrs. Crossley Motors Ltd.,
GORTON,
Manchester.

Dear Mr. Taylor,

I wrote to Mr. Wishart, as per letter attached, and he has replied and suggested that I should get in touch with you as he will be away for two or three weeks.

I do not know whether you, or Mr. Crooke, will be able to get over to Derby, but I believe if this can be arranged we could show you the results of our develop-ment work which we think would, undoubtedly, be of interest to you.

To indicate the opinion which other people have formed of our bearing alloy, we have over 400 pairs of bearings in process of manufacture at the present moment for experimental test, the firms concerned including the majority of commercial vehicle manufacturers, and also two aviation firms.

Yours sincerely,
