Messrs. Borg & Beck Ltd.,
Tachbrook Rd.,
Leamington Spa,
Warwicks.

For the attention of Mr. Barker.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation of to-day, we regard the two 11" clutches you sent us yesterday as providing a satisfactory standard of finish save for the following points.

(1) We should prefer the Borg & Beck transfer to be left off the clutch cover.

(2) We should like the painting on the damper springs to be more uniform. The painting was rather "patchy" on the samples.

(3) We feel that the drilling for the split pin hole in the eyebolts should be more central than in some instances on the two clutches.

(4) We think that you suggestion for painting the projecting lugs of the pressure plate should be adopted.

Apart from the above points we certainly regard the sample clutches as being a big improvement on previous ones.
