To Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. from EFC. X2894 EFC1/T27.2.28. TUNGSTEN CONTACT POINTS Answering your Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms2/P25.2.28, we have not tested the tungsten points referred to in the present day conditions. It has been established, however, that the tungsten supplied by Messrs. Reynolds is practically pure, and that pure tungsten is necessary for the best working. We think there is little likelihood of any improvement by using points manufactured by the firms mentioned, but suggest we should obtain say a couple of sets of each for comparative test, in order that we may eventually, i.e. after suitable test, decide upon a second string supply.
