1138 19th May 1937 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.11/AP. Messrs Clayton Dewandre Co.Ltd., Titanic Works, LINCOLN For the attention of Mr.Willet. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of April 21st. and regret the delay in replying to same. At the moment, we are awaiting some data on car heaters from the U.S.A. and when it arrives would like to come over to Lincoln to discuss the car heater position with you. At the moment we are interested in an oil cooler of a new type and would very much like to get a quick test on a cooler which Messrs John Marston have made up for us. The test required would be similar in nature to those which you have already carried out for us on oil coolers. We would like you to let us know whether you can make this test for us and if you can, how long it would be before you could start the test. We would then despatch the cooler to you and the writer could come over when the tests are complete and discuss both the oil cooler and car heater results. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
