| Handed over 15/8/39 1069. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} G to C [crossed out] D/BP21/MW.31.8.39. Re: Rolls-Royce Ltd., Glasgow Factory. We have an order from Rolls-Royce Ltd., Glasgow, Ref. C.93 dated August 30th., for one secondhand Humber Snipe 1939 model 27 HP Blue Saloon Car, for the sum of £250.0.0. We understand this order covers an arrangement which has been made in respect of the disposal of this car by R.R.Derby to R.R.Glasgow. We understand from Mr.Alvey that they will arrange direct with the Experimental Department in regard to delivery of the car. In the meantime will Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} please confirm that the car is available for delivery in order that G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} may arrange to submit an invoice to Rolls-Royce,Glasgow, for this car.
