X4257 GOSHAWK II BACK AXLE BRAKE GEAR.

Please receive herewith three blue prints of "N" Scheme 809 and "N" Scheme 810 shewing respectively the Michelin Disc Wheel and the Dunlop Wire Wheel, Arrangement of the above axle and Brake Drum.

The hub of the wire wheel is adopted from the present EG for the 40/50, and is what we should like, but we believe that there is no standard Dunlop wheel of these dimensions, the present standards being not at all suitable for us.

It will therefore be necessary for you to approach the Dunlop Co., with a view to getting them to make this wheel as standard for 820X120 tyres.

But for the moment it is intended to proceed with the Michelin wheel, as it is realized that there will be some delay in obtaining wire wheels.

Please put details in hand.
