To EY. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x4522 DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/MN.27/10/34. Copy to W.H.S. HBY. RMG. Bentley - Front Bumper Stabiliser. We have now heard from Messrs. Andre Ltd. that no difficulty will be experienced in moulding a silent block bush on to the flanged cantilever carrying the "Rover" type Bumper, shown on N Sch. 4236 attached. They want the outside diameter of the cantilever bush to be .708 and the inside of the outer bush to be .934, so would you please modify your detail accordingly. There seems now no reason why this scheme N.Sch 4236 should not go forward for putting bumpers on existing Bentleys. We have added a view showing how the stud boss is to be incorporated in the dumb iron in future. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Encl.N.Sch.4236. | ||
