Sheet 2. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}3/H16.1.28. (3) Springing. This seems very good and hold the road well and gives one the feeling that the springs are well damped and rides a bit lumpy over pot-holey roads. There is a continual squeaking taking place as though the brakes were slightly rubbing or the wheels creeping.? or stirrup shackles. (4) Brakes. Inclined to "thump" and grab unless applied carefully, not very effective at high speeds. (5) Steering. Quite good, about the same as the Phantom. Did not try the car at high speeds. (6) Gears. Poor. It would appear that there is something wrong with the gear box. There is a very bad rattle which does not seem to come actually from the gears. E.P. EP.{G.
