On 4.3.12 I submitted to you a sketch of an idea of mine for increasing the wearing surfaces of universal joints applied to the Rolls-Royce engine coupling, together with a provisional patent specification that I had taken out.
In acknowledging these, you said that you were sending them to Derby for a report to be made.
I am most interested to know whether the Technical Department think the idea will be of use to them.
