B.III FRAMES.

We have ordered from Thompsons 3 B.III frames which will incorporate the stiffening both front and rear of this chassis.

The parts on order are :-

Sidemembers FB.3622/3.
Gussets FB.3624/5.
Cruciforms FB.3626/7.

The second frame to be delivered will have gussets .128" thick instead of .104". This difference, however, will not affect erection of the chassis.

Thompsons are going to make a large effort to complete the first frame by Whitsun. It is necessary, therefore that the remaining frame parts which are produced by us should be despatched to Thompsons by the 16.5.38.

It has been decided to rivet the body brackets, dash brackets, and rear buffer bracket to the frame so these parts will also have to be despatched to Thompsons.

There is a frame maker's drawing now practically complete which will show how much Thompsons are expected to assemble.
