SUMMARY OF TEST.
We consider that we urgently require a modified design of piston for the Phantom. Apart from the question of knocks which is causing considerable trouble on production cars, we feel sure that if we can get a piston which will bed uniformly and fit the bore we shall reduce the oiling troubles.
We notice that other makers are using very flexible designs of aluminium pistons.
