It is certain now that the centre for the steel wheels will be as shown on the right-hand half of PD.369, and we shall want some of these with "Bentley" written on them for production "CornicheBentley streamlineExperimental Streamline Bentley B.23.A.Ed precursor to R Type Continental, never produced" cars. If the "Ripple" is also at the Show we shall require a further quantity with "R.R." stamped on them. We leave it to you whether these are spinnings or pressings. As soon as Sankey's return the wheels with the outer discs fixed in place we shall know whether we are going ahead with this scheme also. As regards supply of wheels for experimental cars, will you please get Sankey's to send us another 20 5" rim wheels and all the remaining 4 1/2" rims that they have in stock.
