Phantom III Clutch - Spring Centre.
DRIVEN PLATE. RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}225.

As we have no Exptl. cars which suffer from drive groans (for which the above is intended to be the cure). Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} has agreed to fit the scheme to a test chassis.

It was originally intended that we should modify th existing flywheel and cover, but in view of the new arrangement we shall have to prepare these pieces beforehand. Will you please do so.

The spring centre should be set to have the same damping at the 25/30 propellor shaft damper.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Smth.
