1181. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}5/JH. 5th May, 1938. Hubert H.P. Trist & Co.Ltd., Top Dog Works, Brislington, Bristol.4. For the attention of Mr. B.E.Draper. Your Ref. BED/JR{Mr James Royce}/12883. Dear Sirs, We have tested samples of TSM/B and BW. The latter has not been satisfactory but the former has behaved well on a Bentley for 2,000 miles. This Bentley has been sold so we are fitting the other samples of TSM/B to a 25/30 H.P. car to get further experience. As the lining appears satisfactory we will probably order further supplies, for testing on Bentley's. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
