Apparatus for Disposal In your note EFC3/AD.3. 7. 29 you gave me a list of apparatus from your Electrical Laboratory which you wish to dispose of. With regard to the 3 Smith 12 - volt Dynamos we wrote S. Smith & Sons asking them to make us an offer for same. After a long delay they have replied that although they would like to assist us, the machines referred to are such an old type that they could not make any use whatever of them, and therefore cannot make us an offer. I shall endeavour to obtain an offer locally for these. As regards the 1 Lucas - 12 volt Dynamo Repair Department are considering whether they can take same into stock. As regards the 2 Scintilla 6 - cylinder Magnetos. Scintilla Ltd., have offered us 30/- each for same. In making this offer they state that the type of magneto is now obsolete, and one of the machines is in rather a bad condition, and unless you have some objection, I propose to accept this offer.
