20/25 H.P. Three-charge Scheme.

Referring to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/KT.12.10.32 the series of changes which you outline would appear to be capable of covering all the ordinary conditions which we, from time to time, meet among our owners, in both summer and winter, provided that the rates resulting from the operation of these two field resistances are suitably graded.

I should like to hear further about this please.

Also, I should like to have as soon as possible from you a print or sketch showing the general arrangement of the switching which is obviously quite different from the present wiring, and in addition I should, like to see the external appearance of the switch-box.

Another point, would you let me know whether in connection with the use of vibrator control such as we have tested out on 19-EX, that troublesome characteristic which one has to put up with in connection with the three-brush standard scheme is absent, i.e. the dynamo becoming useless to the car unless a battery is connected across it and consequently is therefore unable to operate the ignition.
