PHANTOM III. SECTION 7042.

LUBRICATION AND PROTECTION OF LOWER YOKE PIECE BEARING.

Kindly note arrangements have been made to bring the leather covers G.85715/6 on to production on the first chassis in D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} series, see LOP. G.83747. Altn.3663 To enable this to be done a small quantity of covers G.ss.{S. Smith} has been supplied to the Works.

High melting point grease should be applied externally before putting the cover on to the joint.

Will Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} please circulate a depot sheet as soon as supplies become available to the effect that covers are to be fitted to all cars that have the bearings dismantled.
