To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. ? ɣ 1114. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.2/AP.15.1.37. P.III. Oil Temp. Regulator Matrix Units. Measrs John Marstons inform us that it would ease the difficulty which they have in avoiding damage to the union threads, when spot facing the top plate joint faces, if we permitted a slight radius at the junction of the union and top plate. We see no objection to a .015" radius - will you therefore please have the internal diameter of washer E.85036 increased to 1.150 + 10 and instruct that the new washers are introduced when Messrs Marstons introduce the radius on the matrix units - they will inform us of the number of the cooler unit from which the alteration commences.
