Peregrine - Cylinder Head E.100940.
--------------------------

It is found that the dimensions of the combustion chamber on the Peregrine Cylinder Head E.100940 give a compression ratio of 6.6 to 1 .

This has been reduced to 6.25 to 1 by adding .025 to the lower surface.

The Experimental Dept. (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}) recommend this ratio for production and the Drawing Office should put through an alteration adding .025 to all dimensions from this datum face.

This increase should also be added to the length of cylinder studs and push rods, as we understand these parts are already on the short side. Will the Drawing Office please look over these dimensions.
