| -3- We have not had the chance to examine the car yet to send in a full report of the damage done; we will get Paris to examine it thoroughly and let us have a full report. Enclosed please find copy of Shepard's report on the accident. We have had to pay a considerable amount of money out in hospital and doctor's fees. In typical French fashion, no one would attend to the men until we had paid them, so we had no option. We are keeping records of all money spent on the job, and are obtaining receipts for it. A.J.
