(Area 'B'), 80, Clapham Rd., LONDON, S.W.9. Dear Rothes, Leslie Hawkins is having a steel body after all, after considerable negotiations with Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} I should be glad if you would treat the matter as confidential as I believe they do not want it to be broadcast. The point is that he is most anxious to get the car with the minimum of delay, and the chassis is very nearly ready; he is afraid of the body being behind-hand. I should be glad if you could do anything to speed up the body. I have asked Hawkins to send the trimming particulars direct to Mr. Ward. Yours sincerely, | ||
