Dear Sir,

Re. Electrical Petrol Gauge.

We thank you for your letter of the 26th.inst.,
ref: FGE/MM. and will endeavour to furnish you with
the necessary particulars for you to make an accurate and
reliable electric petrol gauge for test purposes on our
25 HP. car.

(1) We enclose a rough sketch showing the angle
of the petrol tank compared to ground level.

(2) The length of cable required from the tank to
the instrument board is 15 ft.

(3) The most suitable finish for the instrument
board unit would be -

(a) White dial.
(b) Black rim.
(c) bevelled glass.

(4) The lighting equipment is 12 volts. Coil
ignition is normally used, although magnetos
are fitted and used on some occasions. It is
not possible to use both coil and magneto
together on this type of chassis.
