Results of testing an electrical apparatus and dynamo under various loads.

The apparatus was then arranged to operate with our standard polarity and the curves repeated (and again at a later date) and found to agree, the results being plotted. Similar curves were then taken with the dynamo loaded by constant conductances representing 1/3, 2/3, and full loads, the dynamo carcase temperature in each case being about 50°C. These results are also plotted. Steadiness and consistency were best on open circuit and became poor at full load.
