For the attention of Mr. Skinner.

Dear Mr. Skinner,

One of our ex apprentices Mr. Harker has built rather an original motor car consisting of two Austin 7 engines arranged in a V supercharger with a blower.

I have been out in this car and its performance appears to be such that it should do well on hill climbs. You will remember that Mr. Harker has already had one or two successes in competitions.

He is at the present moment using a Solex carburetter which does not function very well for acceleration and I think it is restricting his top power. I have told him that I think an S.U. carburetter would give him the best results and I am sure he would be very grateful if you could give him any assistance.

Yours faithfully,
