| X4284 b DELCO REMY & HYATT LTD., 111, GROSVENOR ROAD, LONDON, S.W.1. IGNITION EQUIPMENT. 4th Sept. 1925. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, Attention - Mr. J.M. Whitehead. Further to our letter of the 2nd. inst, we now have please in enclosing, as promised, our quotation for a suitable Ignition Equipment for the purpose of the experiment mentioned in your letter of the 28th ult. We are taking this opportunity of quoting you for equipment in quantities in addition to the supply of one sample equipment, and for your information, enclose blue prints Nos. 005249 & 002178 shewing Delco Ignition Distributor Model 5249 and Delco Ignition Coil Model 2178 which we believe is the type of equipment that you will require. In the event of you deciding to purchase one of these equipments, we would ask you to inform us as to the direction of rotation in which you wish the distributor cam shaft to revolve, looking at the driving or shaft end of the unit, and also whether you require the equipments for operation on 6 or 12 volts.
