Y5430 BY/HED. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/C11/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 26.5.26. ------------------ 20 HP. CHASSIS. STEERING COLUMN. -------------------------------- We hand you herewith blueprint of N.Scheme 2193 and copy of Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 20.5.26. in connection with the tubular stiffening stay to the dashboard, similar to what has been instructed for the Phantom. The scheme is apparently suitable for present production type steering column, therefore will you please make a modified scheme so that it can be applied to the stiffer type steering columns for use with the sheet metal dashboards. In regard to the second paragraph of Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}'s memo, our opinion is that it is not intended to fit these stays to existing steering columns, and that it is only intended to be brought in with the stiffer column and totally isolated scuttle. If this is incorrect, will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} please inform us. BY/C. | ||
