RE X.3031 - RE MAGNALIUM METAL.

With reference to magnalium metal we have had some Stanton Test Pieces made of this, and we would like you to inform us if it is easy to obtain this metal in any quantity, and at what price. This is because Mr. Royce thinks it should be tried for crankchamber castings, camshaft casings and smaller pieces where there is much machining, and some screw threads, because he thinks it would be very good for tapped and screw milled threads.

Would you kindly therefore give us all the information you have, with regard to this material
