X35-31 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Maybach car. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}23/E10.10.30 Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/AD2.10.30 and Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E3.10.30 I understand that Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} was able to have a trial run on one of these cars whilst in Paris and I should very much like to see a copy of his report in regard to it. I hear that the price of and enclosed 6-seater is Mk.29.700, i.e. approximately £1450. The discount would be about 10%, approximately........£ 145 £1305. Duty into England 33 & 1/3%. approximately...........£ 435.......£1745 so that you will see the car would cost us about £1745 plus carriage for bringing it over. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
