For the attention of F.Dodd, Esq.
25th. August, 1936.
Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letter of the 21st. August, and would confirm that the 5.00x18 sample wheel has been received by our Technical Manager.
On inspection we find that the dimension 5.450 for the overall length over the cones is minus .060.
This matter has been taken up very strongly with our Inspection Department, and we are assured that particular attention will be paid to this point on all future deliveries, including the 5.00x18 wheels with the new rim.
Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.
H.C.Price
Manager,
Car Manfrs. Division.
