ROY {Sir Henry Royce} 6/FJ26.7.22.

Following our conversation, I would confirm the arrangements made that you will let us know the poundages of a set of 40/50 HP. Axle Springs you require for test purposes so that we can get a set made up in accordance with our present standard practice on the 40/50 HP. but black instead of bright finish.

In the case of the Goshawk, I understand you will arrange to test out a set of black springs already in your possession with taper points and let us know in due course how these compare with our present standard Goshawk practice i.e. black springs but with the points left square and tapered instead of pointed as outlined above.

ROY. {Sir Henry Royce}
