Ho X5950 S/W (that) Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} PN.{Mr Northey}7/WT24.8.28. GHJ-81. LONDON OPEN TOURING TRIALS CAR. A very troublesome point has arisen in connection with this car i.e. the difficulty of preventing "snatching" when the brake pedal is operated and the snap or click which inevitably occurs every time the brake pedal is released. This sounds to be in the Servo and is altogether louder than in the case of other 20 H.P. Chassis. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} states that he is not aware of any means of dealing with this last trouble. The sound is so pronounced that I fear considerable harm, when driving in traffic, may be done on account of this constant loud snap sound. Will you please make some suggestion as to how to deal with it. PN.{Mr Northey} wy | ||
