-4- It is recommended that all subframes should be modified to these dimensions, and that the brake shoe fulcrum pins and nuts be modified. There was another foul reported in the early days which does not appear to have had attention, viz. the rear spring clip immediately in front of the axle fouling the bottom of the subframe on max. bump. Although we have not been troubled with this, one or two of our cars show a dented subframe at this point. The spring clip could possibly be reduced in thickness.
