EXHAUST MANIFOLDS.
20 & 25HP. CHASSIS.

Please find herewith prints of LeC. 2896/7., dealing with the above in which sliding glands have been shewn in accordance with your recommendations.

In the case of 25HP. LeC. 2897. the exhaust pipe has been crushed back against the cylinder to ensure that the gland will slide and not lock, in fact the same elbow and gland parts have been used as on LeC. 2896.

This has resulted in the shape of pipe shewn but we are inclined to think that the result will not look bad and that the exhaust flow will not be unduly impeded.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
