The only chassis from which we removed them was chassis B.II8.BL, Spengler, owing to an overoiling complaint. Since the fitting of L.B.B.s to the above mentioned chassis, we have up to the present only had an opportunity of examining them on two cars, viz. B.I79.AE (F.E. Blanc) and B.I.CW. When we examined the L.B.B.s on chassis B.I79.AE, they had covered 28.198 Kms. and were found to be in a perfect condition and when we examined those on B.I.CW, they had covered 23.220 Kms. and were also found to be in a perfect condition. Résumé: As far as our records indicate, the above cars, with the exception of B.II8.BL, have covered the following mileages since the fitting of the L.B.B.s, without any trouble having developed on this type of bearing. | ||
