system tests on B-23-AN. Keep On

(11) Mths.{Reg Matthews} To issue report of progress so far with oil
consumption. Ultimate object to be able to
run on Castrol Z.

(12) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} T.T. head water 1 1/4" from ex. valve seat.
C.T.S. Standard head 1.00", this must be corrected.
Try longer guides as temporary expedient
on head made. Is 4 1/4 head any different
from 3 1/2.

(13) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Follow up -
(a) Stiffer crankcases.
(b) Tsn's unit.
(c) Flexible flywheel on 6-B-IV.

(14) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} To complete tests on annealed Hall's bearings
and issue a report.

(15) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} To complete endurance tests on stellited
silchrome on lead fuel, valves run with
close clearance.

(16) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} To issue a complete report for Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} on the
jack pads as running on B-56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} If we are
no worse off than at present, say so.

(17) Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} To complete detonation tests.
(1) Water round back of head.
