Re: CHASSIS B.179.AE - Mr. F.{Mr Friese} EDMOND BLANC -------------------------------------- With reference to our memo Sr/VA3/ET.14.I.36, after dismantling the cylinders of this car and measuring up the bores, we have decided to rebore and fit .010" oversize pistons. As per memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RMI/KW.16.I.36, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} recommends that, if we have to re-bore them we should fit "Aerolite" pistons. Will you therefore please arrange to send us by Air Mail six .010" oversize "Aerolite" pistons complete with rings. If the gudgeon pins as fitted to this type of piston are of a different model from those fitted to the split skirt piston, please include six pins. As per paragraph 4 of our memo Sr/VA3/ET.14.I.36, it is possible that you may already have made arrangements to have six "Aerolite" pistons sent to us. VA. | ||
