Carried forward:- Complete fitting of No. 1 Head (LeC 4075)
Run power and detonation curves. 1 1/2 days.
SHOP:- Fit alum. high power head to RS{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}315 incorporating high lift rocker and 1.750" dia. inlet valve.
Power and detonation curves. 1 1/2 days.
SHOP:- Remove .048" gasket and fit a new one of 33 gauge (.010" thick) to give a C.R. of approximately 6.60. This gasket will have to be made.
Power and detonation tests. 1 day.
SHOP:- The C.R. is now to be raised to 7.0 : 1 and instructions will be issued as soon as it is possible to state how much is to be machined off the head.
Power and detonation tests. 1 1/2 days.
