The acceleration is of course better than the Phantom, but not as good as it might be owing to the weight of the car which is 58 1/2 cwts.

The speedometer is only 2.7 M.P.H. fast at 60 and after that is progressively optimistic.

I want to emphasize again that we think the steering and suspension are very good indeed. We are going to give this car a thorough test, probably on the Continent, and really these remarks are somewhat previous as no-one has done more than about 300 miles continuously on the car up-to-date.

We think the wireless set is very good and would like to ask two questions about it - (1) where did you find the best place to fix the aerial, (2) did you experience any ignition trouble with the suppressors ?

We think you have done very well on the cornering of the Cadillac. With the ride control in the hard position it is possible to throw it about with a surprising amount of confidence.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
