To EY. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X7450 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rnl/LG.5.28. 40/50 STEERINGS. X7430 You will have seen that R.{Sir Henry Royce} is pushing for an .825 lead steering worm to take the place of the .940 lead at present being used. We recommend that a .825 lead worm is issued for us to try out immediately experimentally with a view to its taking the place of the .940 worms and that no more of the latter are manufactured. We should like to know if it is possible to use a 9 3/4" pendulum lever having the ball end on the inside, if ends F76110 are used on the side steering tube. If so, we wish to take these parts to France with 12-EX to try as an alternative against the 10" lever. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
