NEW TYPE SHOCK ABSORBERS. X.3461.

A point we omitted to mention in our report on the New Type shock Absorbers was that they collect a lot of mud and dirt and are very difficult to clean. The chief reason is the design of the aluminium presser plate for the springs. We recommend that this should be modified and made a simple shape on the outside so that there will be no nicks and crevices to collect mud, if necessary, the lightening features can be made on the inside.
