X3922 To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} PN{Mr Northey}9/DN/18.1.22. X.674. CHASSIS 20-UG X.3922 X.2565 Although this car has some quite good features for the purpose od demonstration, yet I feel that taken as a whole it is not desirable to use this car in important demonstration work until the "fuss" and noise made by the engine, especially at certain critical speeds, is materially reduced. I would like Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, when he comes to London tomorrow to find time to go on this car either myself or H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} in order to confirm this. Steps should be taken at the earliest moment to deal with this matter in order that the car shall be available. FN. R.R. 2358 (50 T) (S) (L 09) 'H.S.' 19.2.21.
